Your donation is tax deductible. CVCJ is a Project of Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs (SEE), a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose EIN is 95-4116679.
As our fiscal sponsor, SEE provides CVCJ’s nonprofit tax status and support in the areas of finance and accounting, human resources, administrative and grants preparation, annual filings and charitable registrations, IT and security and organizational insurance including general liability and additional coverages. CVCJ pays a portion of our income to SEE for their services. As a small nonprofit with limited staff hours, working under SEE’s umbrella allows our staff to spend more of our time on programming, rather than administrative tasks.
When searching for CVCJ on online donation platforms, you may notice “SEE” come up when you input our EIN; that is correct. As long as you note that your donation is for “Central Virginia Community Justice,” it will be routed to us when SEE receives it.
