Development Manager

CVCJ seeks to hire a part-time (10-20 hours per week) Development Manager. This is a perfect role for someone with development experience who is looking for a more flexible schedule. This position will stay open indefinitely until filled by a compatible candidate.

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to guide the development and fundraising strategy for CVCJ. This will include donation appeals & campaigns, donor cultivation, and at times assisting with grant applications and management, communications, event planning, and financial reporting. The successful candidate for Development Manager will work alongside the two Co-Directors and will lead the Development Circle (Advisory Council committee), collaborating to develop and implement a strategic development plan that will advance CVCJ’s mission and goals. 

CVCJ is actively seeking to create a healthy, restorative workplace culture. The successful candidate will be an active player in living our organizational values of dignity, action, honesty, interconnection, and healing, both in our programs and in our interactions with one another as colleagues.

This individual will primarily work from home (CVCJ does not have an office space) with some in-person meetings in the Charlottesville region, and occasional evening or weekend hours for meetings and events.
