Explore rural Virginians creating community-driven solutions to their toughest challenges This screening will offer a broad view of VPM‘s eight-episode docuseries “Life in the Heart Land.” You won’t see this screening anywhere else! Episode topics include food insecurity, justice reform, recycling plastics, access to broadband, farming, reclaiming Native American identity, and the affordable housing crisis. Join us to celebrate the neighbors, communities and organizations featured in the series and their stories of unique solutions to enhance their communities. Following the screening, producers from Deep Structure Productions and folks featured in the series will have a deeper conversation about how they are tackling these challenges and how you can help.
